Fraunhofer-CCPE-Hackathon

The development of circular products is a highly interdisciplinary task. Researchers at Fraunhofer CCPE have created a two-day workshop format. In this, the exchange between the different disciplines, departments and perspectives will be promoted and first prototypes will be built.

Expert presentations on the circular economy, new materials and processes, and new products on the market provide the basis for this process. In the subsequent creative phase, in which designers and experts critically examine the existing product range, ideas for improvements in design, usability and recycling are developed. Initial prototypes can be built within the two-day format to quickly make the challenges and unique selling points of the new design concept tangible.
